Worte als geistige Nahrung

In June 2016, numerous merchants in Regensburg's old town also took part in the "Glückskind" project.

They had their shop windows painted or decorated by calligrapher Johann Maierhofer and graphic designer Laura Pierquin. Messages of happiness will then run like a common thread through the city center.

Amani, sieh nicht zurück!

My first illustrated children's book, "Amani, sieh nicht zurück!" by Katrin Holle, was published on December 1, 2016, by NeuDENKEN Media.

It tells the story of a little Syrian girl who recounts her journey from her village in Syria to Germany, where her family finds refuge. The text is in German and Arabic.

La Cuberie

The Website „La Cuberie“ (2014) provided a toolbox and a design space to collectively map people's ideas in a creative, virtual space.
On this website, anyone can design a cube with six individually customisable surfaces. Photos from an image database and images that participants have previously taken from their surroundings can be used for this purpose. In this way, the space is continuously redesigned through the collaboration of the participants and reflects their collective imagination. To this end, I organised workshops with children. The aim was for them to describe their neighbourhood using visual means. The creations were then exhibited in the city.
La Cuberie won the jury's grand prize at the Young Talent Challenge organised by Pictanovo in June 2024.
